Go Green for Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
Why Green?
The heart chakra is associated with the colour green, and it is our centre of love, compassion and forgiveness.
While I had breast cancer, love and forgiveness played a significant role in my healing journey. I believe love and forgiveness are vital to everyone's health if you have cancer or not, and especially if you have a genetic predisposition to breast cancer.
Suppressing negative emotions like anger, resentment, guilt, and grief disrupt our body's normal functioning, leading to a weakened immune system, which could lead to illnesses and diseases.
While it's essential to go for a breast exam at least once a year, I encourage you also to take some time to reflect inwards and examine your heart...and although it's sometimes scary to go within and deal with our emotions, it's far less intrusive than going for mamograms and MRI's and way more rewarding, especially in the long run!
Here's a heart chakra meditation I invite you to do,

Take a quiet moment for yourself.
Bring your awareness to your heart
Feel your heartbeat, your life force, your energy
As you breathe in and out, visualise the petals of your heart chakra gradually opening, like a beautiful lotus flower
Feel your heart filling with the most radiant green light
Opening it up to beautiful miracles and healing
To giving and receiving love
and to forgiveness.
And when you feel ready...
Send love to every single cell (including cancer cells) and every energetic part of your being.
Send love to every human, animal and plant on this planet.
Forgive yourself
Forgive others
Forgive your past
and send love to your past for all that it has taught you.

As I continue to heal and open my heart, it is becoming easier to share the experiences of my healing journey (cos some miracles there are no words!).
